Skin Tightening & Machine Treatments in Carson, CA

Skin Tightening & Machine Treatments in Carson, CA

Machine treatments are the non-surgical route to firmer, more contoured-looking skin. Instead of removing tissue, they use focused energy — ultrasound, radiofrequency, or electromagnetic stimulation — to prompt your body's own collagen and muscle response. There are no incisions, no anaesthetic, and in most cases nothing that stops you going back to work afterward.

Glow in Grace Aesthetics offers four of these technologies in one Carson studio, which matters more than it sounds. Each one solves a different problem, and the most common mistake people make is booking the treatment they have heard of rather than the one that addresses what is actually bothering them. We would rather spend twenty minutes working that out with you than sell you the wrong device.

What Are Skin Lifting & Skin Tightening Services

What each treatment is actually for

Ultherapy — For Lifting

Focused ultrasound reaches the deeper support layer of the skin, the same layer a surgeon addresses. It is the most substantial non-surgical lifting option we offer and the right choice when the concern is sagging along the jawline, under the chin, or across the brow. Results build gradually over two to three months as new collagen forms, and typically hold for around a year.

Exilis — for tightening and contouring, face or body.

Combines radiofrequency with ultrasound, which lets it work on both skin laxity and localized fat in the same session. Frequently chosen for the lower face and neck, and for smaller body areas that have stopped responding to diet and exercise.

Lumines RF — For Skin Quality and Firmness.

Radiofrequency heats the dermis to stimulate collagen without disturbing the surface. Best when the skin looks a little loose or crepey rather than genuinely fallen, and it improves texture and tone at the same time. Comfortable, no downtime, and it works best as a short course rather than a single visit.

EMS Sculpt — for muscle, not skin.

This one is different from the other three. It triggers deep, involuntary muscle contractions to build tone in areas that resist targeted exercise — the abdomen and glutes most often. It will not tighten skin, and it is not a weight loss treatment. It builds muscle.

How to choose between them

The simplest way to think about it: Ultherapy lifts. Radiofrequency firms and improves quality. EMS builds muscle. If the problem is that something has dropped, you want Ultherapy. If the skin is in the right place but has lost its snap, radiofrequency is the better value. If the concern is tone underneath rather than the skin itself, EMS is the only one of the four that addresses it.

Many clients end up combining two — Ultherapy for the lift and a course of RF for surface quality, for example. If that is genuinely the right plan for you we will say so, and if one treatment will do the job on its own we will say that instead.

What To Expect

Your appointment begins with a personalized consultation to evaluate your treatment area, skin concerns, and aesthetic goals. Your provider will recommend the appropriate technology, which may include Ultherapy, Exilis, Lumines RF, or EMS Sculpt, based on whether your primary goal is lifting, skin tightening, contouring, or muscle toning.

Treatment time varies depending on the technology and area being treated. You may experience warmth, pressure, or brief muscle contractions during treatment. Most treatments require little to no downtime, allowing you to return to your normal activities the same day.

Frequently Asked Questions About Skin Lifting & Skin Tightening Treatments

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the device and the goal. Ultherapy is often a single session with results building over several months. Radiofrequency treatments like Lumines RF and Exilis usually work best as a course of three to six, spaced two to four weeks apart. EMS Sculpt is typically a series of four to six over two to three weeks. We give you a specific number after seeing the area, not before.

Does it hurt?

Ultherapy is the most intense of the four — most clients describe brief deep prickling as the energy is delivered, and it is over quickly. Radiofrequency treatments feel like a warm massage. EMS Sculpt feels like a strong involuntary muscle contraction, which is strange the first time but not painful.

Is there any downtime?

No. Some redness or warmth for a few hours is the extent of it. You can go straight back to work, wear makeup, and exercise the same day.

How long do results last?

Ultherapy results typically hold for around a year, though this varies with age and skin condition. Radiofrequency results last several months and are usually maintained with occasional top-up sessions. EMS Sculpt results depend on staying active — muscle tone fades if it is not used.

If you are not certain which of these four is right for you, that is exactly what a consultation is for. We will look at the area, tell you honestly what each option would and would not achieve, and recommend the one that fits your goal and your budget — including telling you if the answer is none of them yet.

Glow in Grace Aesthetics is at 316 W Carson St, Suite 104, Carson, CA 90745, open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm, and serving clients across Carson, Torrance, Long Beach, Gardena, Compton, Harbor City, Wilmington, Lomita, San Pedro and Redondo Beach. Book online or call (424) 288-0020.

Are these treatments safe for darker skin tones?

Yes. Ultrasound and radiofrequency are not light-based, so they do not carry the pigmentation risks associated with some laser treatments. All four are appropriate across the full range of skin tones.

Can I combine machine treatments with facials or injectables?

Usually, with sensible spacing. We will sequence your treatments so they support each other rather than compete, and tell you how long to leave between them.

What does it cost?

Ultherapy is $1,500 for a single session or $2,000 for two. Lumines RF is $600 for one session or $900 for two. Exilis is $500 for one or $800 for two. EMS Sculpt is $550. Multi-session pricing is designed for the treatments that genuinely work better as a course. Financing through Cherry is available if you would prefer to spread the cost — checking your options takes about a minute and does not affect your credit score.

Treatment recommendations depend on the area being treated, your goals, and consultation.
